With Valentine's a few days away, we hear things like, "Love is in the air". We express our love for one another with gifts, flowers, chocolates, poems and much more. At least that's how it was for me when I was in a relationship. Now in our days it's easy to get consumed with the advertisements of love. However, It's important to remember our commitment to God through Jesus.
Commitment - the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc.
What does the Bible say about commitment?
Many times in scripture, the commitment of God's people was intensely challenged when facing hardship and adversity. This can be said in our everyday lives. Although commitment to our beliefs, goals, or significant other may be very difficult at times, the meaningful pursuits of life's joy are hardly ever easy. It's easy to get tangled up and forget about our Commitment to God. But there is Hope in Jesus. Through Jesus we can remain committed to God. After all that's why He died on the cross for us. He did it so that we can have access to the Father. This is why we pray in "the name of JESUS"
Below you'll find encouragement through a list of Bible verses to help you stay committed. I pray they help you in this journey of commitment through Christ to the Father.
