We don't know what the overall impact of this coronavirus will be. Hopefully it won't touch me, you or your family. However it's important to pray, be informed and not live in fear. I'm currently writing this post from my favorite place, Coney Island Public Library. And I've seen the staff take precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. And I'm very well pleased.
With all the News circulating in social media, It's easy to live in fear and forget to trust in God. But, the Bible teaches to pray about everything:
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
So don't allow yourself to fall victim to fear. Instead do a self annalists of you health and
ask yourself...
1. What's the state of your immune system?
2. Does it seem your family catches everything that comes around? Flu, stomach viruses, colds. etc.
3. When you do feel something coming on, how long does it last and how severe are the symptoms?
4. What's in your DNA? Cancer, Alzheimer's, Heart Disease and much more. Are you destined to have the diseases of your ancestors?
These can all be good indications of the health of your immune system as well as a reflection of your lifestyle and habits.
Ask yourself these questions, then take action and pray for strength, guidance and be informed. Trust that God has it all under his control. We all get sick. We're all going to pass from this life on earth. This world is not our home. Our Creator created us and provided all we need along with instructions to help us be healthy so we can be happy and fulfill His plan for our lives. We just have to trust Him!
