Now that you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It's very important you live for Him, in Him and through Him. When you receive salvation, you receive a new life which means you need to live a new life. You are no longer living the ways of the world. A slave bonded by sin. You are now set free from the bond of sin and living in the ways of the Lord. Below is a list of things that are important to help in your new journey, so you can stay in the walk, grow in His presence, and keep His Peace.
Read & Study the Bible daily:
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:16
For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope Romans 15:4
Pray, talk to God, Daily:
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
Depend on the Holy Spirit, Ask for direction:
Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groaning’s too deep for words. Romans 8:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. John 14:26
Attend church regularly, this is called fellowship:
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:20
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25
Be a service to others:
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Hebrews 13:16
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: 1 Peter 4:10

Help Spread the Gospel:
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. 1 Timothy 4:13
And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14
