Best Bible Verse to read for the sunrise
Have you ever wondered if there are Bible verses suited just for the Start of a new day? I like to read my Bible early in the morning, and share my favorite verses with my friends, or even through social media. Sharing and highlighting the best Bible verses to read for the sunrise is what this blog post is about.
I'm amazed at how my prayers have changed over the years and how much freer I feel. As a young man in a God-fearing home, my conversations with God started as small talk, but then quickly grew to a more in-depth conversation. Still, there are moments where I have, small talk with God. I know God is there, but my prayers had become flavorless like a steak dinner without the A1 steak sauce. And being stuck at home due to the COVID-19 doesn't help.
Good thing we have the word of God to help us out.
Best Bible Verses to read for the sunrise
For me, mt sunrise is so much better with Jesus. I always look forward to my time with God very early when the sunrises and when it sets. Just me, my Bible, and of course, my coffee. In those quiet moments when everyone is still asleep, I search for the best Bible verses to read for the sunrise. However, of course, not every sunrise is the same.
There some mornings that feel like a wild, mad rush to get to the next urgent item on my to-do list. Others are a blur of ‘what I didn't finish yesterday’ while having regrets for staying up way too late. And on those mornings I feel a tinge of guilt and annoyance. Guilt at feeling like I’ve let God down and annoyance at myself for not managing my time better and making unwise choices. Like hitting the snooze button. lol. Feeling this way isn't healthy or helpful.
When I feel this way, I’m reminded of a few of my favorite verses to read in the morning. Bible verses that have spoken to me in a challenging period of my life. A time when life looked as far from perfect as it could ever be. You know, when the grace of God, just feels too far!
Here's a list of the Best Bible Verses (from the NIV) to read for the Sunrise:

Isaiah 50:4 “The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. “
