With this global pandemic, the church has had to re-invent itself. Physically the church doors remain closed, however figuratively and Spiritually, it's doors are wide open. More and more Believers shine brightly. Using social media outlets and modern day technology, the gospel of Jesus is still being preached. Now more than ever the Church is praying. We are ever more seeking the face of God. And it's encouraging.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV
In every moment of our lives, we as Believers should shine bright, however in moments of darkens, plagues, or crisis we need to shine brighter. The message of Hope should be louder. That seed of encouragement should be growing. Let it flourish, blossom, and bloom. Winter is gone but spring is here. Let this be the season of growth.
Something I came across while reading a Bible Study plan.
A man was browsing in a store where he made the shocking discovery that God was behind a sales counter. So the man walked over and asked, “What are you selling?” God replied, “What does your heart desire?” The man said, “I want happiness, peace of mind and freedom from fear – for me and the whole world.” God smiled and said, “I don’t sell fruit here. Only seeds.”
